How difficult is rigging a model? My brother has made models for about one decade and he says that its always been very difficult to rig. He uses 3DSMax and sometimes Maya.

Yes Blender is free and a good way to learn, but if you want to produce real life animation and models, Maya is the way to go. Studios use similar software to what Maya does.

Blender can create a lot more realistic models, while in roblox, it would take you quite a while to make something that looks like a BF4 model with all the texture well placed.

+- Mystith - This may sound very off topic, but it's funny how ROBLOX Studio is so similar to blender, with just more complicated physics.

Blender is free, easier to learn than 3DSMax or Maya, and produces just as good results.

it's difficult because it's always different how you want the model to move with the bones in your rig, which is basically everything you're doing when rigging. It just takes a lot of practise, and I mostly just model and texture it and then I leave it
