I like how this is a metaphor of humans being monsters as they don't think they are, while the light is either a shot at redemption or something that may be deemed important. Of course, everyone would go through extremes to get it, and only few would succeed.

Two things. Do not press read more unless you want to see very bad swearing First of all, why can’t the monsters, the ones with arms just OPEN THE DOOR. Second, what the hell is this story? All the monsters were humans, or do they only gain sentience after getting the light, or what? Why were some short? Were they midgets? Were some of them so morbidly obese that they turned into huge hulking beasts? And why the f8ck, and how the f8ck do people (and midgets, and morbidly obese dragons) get turned into monsters made of darkness? Oh yeah also I want a sequel or at least something that explains how the f8ck this works
